Lights, camera, action

. . . . . . . . . . . .

We get involved in some brilliant projects here at Oxygen, and there’s nothing more exciting than working on projects for broadcast – which is exactly what our Creative Director Neil has been doing for our client Blackmore Ricotech in Wiltshire.
There is a lot of prep work involved in filming for broadcast. From scripting and line-learning, to wardrobe and camera angles, there is so much to think about and often it’s the smaller details that can take the most time.
Neil was on hand on the day of filming to art direct alongside the TV production company, which involved scouting out different filming locations, deciding on what to capture around the factory, and how to angle certain shots to get the perfect lighting and sound.
It sounds crazy, but a 15-minute TV slot can take hours to film when you want to get that perfect shot!
As well as art directing the filming, being there on the day also gave Neil the opportunity to get some brilliant photography for use in future marketing, such as brochures and on the website.
A long but rewarding day for Neil, and we’re looking forward to seeing the footage when it’s aired soon on Sky.
