AeroSpace Cornwall appoints Oxygen as its marketing agency

. . . . . . . . . . . .

Oxygen is delighted to announce that it has been appointed as AeroSpace Cornwall marketing agency after tender.
The AeroSpace Cornwall programme is led by the Cornwall Development Company (CDC), and delivered in partnership with the West of England Aerospace Forum (WEAF). It aims to increase the value of the local aerospace and space supply chains and secure ongoing investment, particularly in research and development for local businesses.
Oxygen will handle the PR and marketing, including social output, as well as building the programme’s website, in a contract valued at around £55,000.
James Fairbairn, Business Engagement Manager for AeroSpace Cornwall, said: “AeroSpace Cornwall is supporting businesses, large and small, to invest in research and development opportunities in the aerospace and space sectors, as well as supporting any relocations to the area. Oxygen has provided the crucial creativity and communications capability that we needed to promote this to a wider audience.”
Oxygen’s Managing Director, Steve Lodge, stated: “As Aerospace Cornwall marketing agency we will take a fully-integrated approach to communications, to meet their clear objectives.
“We have gained much experience in working with public sector bodies and organisations that engage with investors in the South West region. We’re really looking forward to a rewarding relationship with this forward-thinking organisation.”
The aim for the UK Government is to use the EU-funded project to attract investment into this beautiful region of the UK, and develop it as one of the UK’s main space clusters. The programme is providing funding for small to medium enterprises via innovation vouchers, to support exciting ideas and thinking that will create new highly skilled jobs for the region.
