Charity benefits as Oxygen takes on the Commando Challenge
Once again oppos from Oxygen Agency took on the Commando Challenge at Bicton Arena on Saturday 6th September where they embraced the Royal Marines entry course to raise money for charities Devon Air Ambulance Trust and Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund. Oxygen raised £369.00 with help from, friends family and customers.
The Commando Challenge involves running through a forest, over moors, through rivers, deep lakes, small tunnels and the dreaded ‘sheep-dip’ which involves being completely submerged in muddy water and swimming through a small, under-water tunnel.
We are proud to say that the team successfully completed every obstacle put in front of them and had fun in the process. It was worth the cuts, aches and bruises and the team are already thinking about doing it all over again next year to beat their time and raise even more money for the great charities.
When Oxygen took part in the Commando Challenge back in 2012 they came 45th place out of a total of 59 teams. This year the team came an amazing 11th out of 27 teams, so they aim to beat this yet again next time.
