How to use brand design in your workspace

Last week, we blogged about the office design concept that we put together for the Plymouth, Devon branch of TQR, a leading regional recruiter.

Today our design agency is proud to share with you another branded office design project that we’ve conceived and executed for our client Mobile Broadband Network Ltd (MBNL) in Amersham. We helped redevelop MBNL’s website earlier this year, and they asked us to come back and design a wall mural for their Amersham-based headquarters.

We created a dynamic, flowing design that reflects MBNL’s brand strengths and adds a splash of colour and vibrancy to the office environment. We’re pleased to hear that there has been great feedback from employees.

Bring your mission statement to life

It’s worth noting that we made MBNL’s mission statement into an integral feature of the mural.

In last week’s blog post, we showed how important it is for your office design to make a great first impression on customers and clients. The mural we’ve created for MBNL is a great example of how office design can be used for internal communication as well.

How? Put it this way. Does your business have a mission statement or a set of core values? Chances are that it does. Now, how many of your employees could tell you what they were if you walked up and asked them?

Many firms will invest time and money in focus groups, away days and branding consultants in order to create a coherent set of core values or a clear and inspiring mission statement. But after the big, company-wide launch presentation, the new mission statement can end up gathering dust on the shelf.

Giving your mission statement a strong visual impact means that employees will be reminded every day what makes your company special – and what your brand promise means to customers.
