Moving house. Taking Bridwell Park to WordPress

We are big fans of WordPress here at Oxygen. It’s intuitive, adaptable and, most importantly, the framework is open source.

So when Devon-based Bridwell Park came to us with their website, underneath which was an unmanageable content management system (CMS), we immediately suggested a move to WordPress.

Website driven by imagery and information

Bridwell Park is a stunning event venue set in the Devon countryside. The venue hosts weddings, corporate events and parties, and has rooms to hire as well as the grounds.

The website contains lots of information on the services, history and rates, as well as plenty of images, which were all being moved across.

Our build – on their website

Like brain surgeons tying up nerve endings, our developers worked hard to ensure the move went smoothly. We amended a few things as we went so that the new site is both reflective of the old one but leaps and bounds ahead of it – attractive, informative and easy to manage.

Bridwell Park can now easily manage their content and add or amend pages as the business grows.
