Pantone colour of the year 2016
It’s a 2 for 1 at Pantone this year! Pantone has just announced its 2016 Colour of the Year and – for the first time – it’s actually two colours in the limelight:
15-3919 Serenity and 13-1520 Rose Quartz.
Pantone says that these gentle colours are all about well-being, compassion and composure; an antidote to the craziness of the world we live in. Alongside this, these two colours reflect a new generation that is less concerned with differences and being typecast; that is growing up in a more open world with increased gender equality and free exchange of digital information.

Pantone is a colour matching system that allows different manufacturers across the global, from printers to textile manufactures, to match colours without physically comparing them.
