Tiverton-based marketing communications firm The Oxygen Agency has strengthened its digital team with the appointment of a new digital developer, Jim Richards. Jim brings 17 years of experience to the team, with knowledge on all aspects of digital, from video production to web development.
Jims appointment comes as the agency has seen a rise in requests for digital work, as Oxygen Digital Director Malcolm Buttel, explains: “Video has boomed in popularity over the last 12 months, and we are seeing this trend reflected in the type of work we are being asked to produce. Whether it’s live-action video or animation, everyone is starting to understand the benefits of using video in their marketing and PR, so strengthening our digital team was a priority for us.”
Before joining Oxygen, Jim enjoyed a successful digital career at national ad agency Bray Leino in North Devon, working on a variety of video and web projects for both B2B and B2C clients.
“I wanted to join an agency where I could work on projects from end to end, as part of a large team,” Jim commented. “Oxygen allows me to do just that, and I’m looking forward to working on all of the interesting projects going on at the moment.”
