Oxygen gets physical on the Commando Challenge
An intrepid Oxygen team got tough on Saturday 6th October when they took the Commando Challenge at Bicton Arena in Devon. This is a fund-raising event run by the Royal Marines, raising money for their charity and for Devon Air Ambulance Trust.
Oxygen’s participants faced a range of challenges on the marine assault course, including crawling through underground tunnels filled with water, going under in the sheep dip, as well as running through the moorland and facing the showers afterwards! They were left muddy, cold, wet and with bruised knees – but no bruised egos. They got round in a decent time are shown celebrating with their medals.
So well done to the team and to those who sponsored them.
