Why is Oxygen different from a PR agency?

Oxygen is not a PR agency – but you get a PR agency service! We offer something different. If you want a PR agency because you have other marketing services catered for, then we’re probably not what you’re looking for. That’s because we look at your objectives and propose which of our services – possibly all of them – will get you where you want to be. It may not be a PR-only solution.

If you want the benefits of a PR team that is great at public relations and is backed by a design team, copywriters, video production, web developers and more, then that’s us.

Since we often work on a retainer basis with clients you’ll find we allocate you budget in the best way, not in just one way.

What’s best – advertising or PR?

We’re often asked this question, and in fairness we have two approaches to this dilemma. Firstly we love to test the market, which means allocating some budget to PR and some to advertising. Both channels now span print and digital media. Secondly we use our experience and instinct to propose what we feel will work best, and often it’s a mixture of both anyway.

People are not as easy to convince through advertising as they once were. They know when they’re being advertised to. That means that a typical column inch of PR coverage can be four times more valuable than a column inch of advertising. This is important when we look at the media mix we need to achieve your goals.
